Sing with Your eyes

Lord give us eyes to see as you see.  Help us to see beauty in things that are not beautiful.   Help us to see value in those who are without honor.  Help us to find hope in hopeless situations.  Give us patience to wait when we really don't want to.  Help us to see a way to give mercy when anger rises up within us.  Help us to see a way to let go when we want so badly to hold on to negative things in our lives.  Help us to see need, and a way to fill it.  Help us to place love on the heads of the homeless.   Bless us with your eyes Lord so that we can walk the earth in peace.  In Jesus name we pray. Forgive

  Heavenly Father please forgive us for any wrongs we have committed before you in thought, word, or in deed.  Lord, you are "merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy."                                      Teach us Lord to forgive those who have committed wrongs against us. 
Help us to walk away from our anger at being treated unjustly so that in our forgiving, we can be made free. 
Remind us Lord that a clean heart is a light heart , and a light heart can be touched by God.  May our desire be only for you Oh Lord. May our thoughts be made pure and clean.  May forgiveness flow freely from our lips, our minds, and our hearts so that we may be forgiven, and then be able to spend eternity with you.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen 😊 🙏 💒

Removing stumbling blocks

**Stumbling blocks**
Father we thank you that you have laid out a path for every one of us.  You know where we should plant each foot, how we should make each move, and when we should take each breath.  You know who we will meet and what we should say to them.  You know the places where we will work and you know when we will leave that place.  You have placed a way out if we should fall into the enemy's snares and you have a wheelbarrow to haul away stumbling blocks.   Lord please remove the people who don't belong on our paths, or in our lives. Please remove the traps and the stumbling blocks which were set to cause us to fall.  Open our eyes so that we can see the stumbling blocks, and open our ears so that we can hear you when you give us directions.   Strengthen our hearts so that we will have the faith to follow you into fire knowing that we won't get burned.  Help us to do what you say and to avoid the stumbling blocks that are in the way of our success and of our obedience to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

We bring our joy and our praise before you!

Rise up

Rise up oh people of God! Reclaim your rightful place in the kingdom! You are victors, not victims of Satan's evil plots.  You have been given victory by the blood of the lamb crucified for us. laugh in Satan's face! Step over Satan's traps! Hold your sword up high! It is your victory and your salvation!  Rise up this morning oh people of God, and claim your victory over this day! Shout the name of Jesus!  Strike down the enemy with the power of the Word of God! You are victorious today!  You are victorious today!  YOU ARE VICTORIOUS! !  Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen 😊 🙏 💒 😇

Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty .. [Agnus Dei]

No Condemnation

"There is therefore now, no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit".  We are human and being human means making mistakes, guessing incorrectly, pushing one incorrect letter or number on the computer, letting something slip from the lips that ought not to have slipped, accidently giving incorrect information, not setting the 'right' example, leaving out some crucial information or teaching for our kids, and so on, and so on, and so on.  Well, it's time to get over it.  Moses killed someone.  King David committed murder and adultery. Samson continuously pursued the wrong woman despite many warnings, Ruth left her homeland to follow a relative stranger, Jacob stole his brother's birth right, yet all these people and so many more were chosen by God to do his work.  In spite of, and maybe because of, their insecurities and mistakes, they- and so many others were chosen by God and counted as perfect.  So, we make mistakes.  So we're not perfect.  Oh well!! God already knew that about us, and we need to get over it.  Anyway, being imperfect takes a lot of the stress off.  Now, no one expects us to be perfect, and we can do our level best and give a cheer of success even if our best wasn't perfect.  "There is no condemnation if you are in Christ".  He came to forgive us - for everything.  We stand forgiven.  Now get up and try again, or don't.  You can always choose to move on to the next thing. You're forgiven.  You're made perfect in your imperfection by Jesus, the Christ - our Lord and savior, our kinsman redeemer.

     Father, please forgive us for being upset about not being perfect.  We're so thankful that you accept us just as we are.  You don't have any expectations above the person you created us to be, and we're so grateful for that.  Help us to forgive ourselves, to forget our human failings, and to move on with a smile on our lips and with joy in our hearts.  Blessed be the name of the Lord!.  In Jesus name do we give thanks. Amen.

Overcome the world

Heavenly Father we come before you in the mighty and miraculous name of Jesus  the Christ.  We thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for your presence in our lives. We thank you for the many blessings that you have given us each day.   Forgive us if we sometimes seem to forget how awesome it is just to wake up in the morning. please help us to show you our appreciation in a way that is pleasing to You.  Help us to listen and then to act upon your instructions for our lives.  Give us the strength not to succomb to the pressures of the world.  The world can not save us and will perish with everything else.  Only your word will last forever.  Your word, Lord, is our hope, and our peace.  Give us the strength to go forward in the midst of struggle, sickness, pain and suffering knowing that if we hang on to the end, we will overcome the world.  Thank you for loving me enough to save my life.  In Jesus name. Light

We all love light. It brightens our day, our spirits and our lives.  It is so important that there's a disease named for people who need light.  It's called SAD.  Seasonal Affective Disorder.  That's interesting.   We all need THE LIGHT and without Him, we are sad.  He brightens our day and leads us to Him.  He is the Light of the World.  He is "a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path".  Nothing shall we fear,  as long as He is near, Praise God that He'll be near us to the end.  Follow the light.  He will guide you.  He will heal you. He will help you in your time of need.  He will bring you joy (Rejoice in the Lord always). and you won't be sad.

God is in Control

Open your eyes oh you people of God.  Rejoice at the rising of the sun.  We thank you God that there are things over which man has no control.   This morning we choose to praise you.  We choose to go forward into our day with bold determination.  We choose to answer offensive comments with positive quiet response.  We choose to walk away from gossip.  We choose to refuse anger.  We choose not to be controlled by unfair consequences.   We choose not to participate in improper behavior.  We choose to win by bowing to you and not to pressure imposed on us by man.  These choices are not controlled by man.  They are between us and God. " Love is patient, love is kind, love is not puffed up, love doesn't hold into account a wrong suffered....love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13.  Walk in love and rejoice in the day. Amen.

He reigns!

Blessed be the Lord who reigns forever and in whose hands we place our lives.  We praise you oh thou great Jehovah who leads us in victory each day.  Forgive us when we focus on the small things and take our constant blessings for granted.  Help us to speak our faith and not our fear when our enemies plot against us.  Let us rejoice as we sit at the table you've prepared for us in the presence of our enemies.   We will smile and not be weary.  We will lift our hands in praise! We will shout out loud for glory! Great is the Lord! Greater than our problems,  greater than our fears, greater than our diseases,  greater than our enemies,  greater than the evil one who tries to destroy relationships!  We will smile and act like victors because you have brought us from a long way. Darkness is behind us, sickness and sorrow can be our masters no more!  Great is the Lord! Great is the Lord! Great is the Lord! Amen.

Praise report

Thank you for your prayers. When we brought him in the pulmonary specialist saw the x-ray and almost cried.  They thought he was going to die that night.  Sunday morning he was lying on the couch and mom and I prayed over him for an hour.  We knew nothing.  God knows everything.   The doctors looked at his tests and told him somebody was praying for you because with what has happened to you, you would have been dead.  My friends and family prayed, and though recovery may be long, there will be a recovery.

Walk with us Lord

Heavenly Father we thank you for your presence in our lives. We thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for the many blessings that we receive from you daily.  Lord we ask that you help us to walk in the path that you have set up for us and that we share your love as generously as you have given it.  Give us wisdom and knowledge so that we  can walk in strong faith and not falter.  Please remove the stumbling blocks that cause us to doubt or to become afraid.  Help us to be brave and bold in you, knowing that you go before us and have prepared a way for us to be successful and that even our enemies will be at peace with us.   We thank you for favor, for prosperity,  for health and for safety.  May we always walk in peace and victory,  in Jesus name we pray. Amen

Your destiny

No man has the power to change God's direction for you.  The Pharoah chased Moses and his people and he tried to change their direction, but God said, "No". And the red sea swallowed the Pharoah and hi men.  The Pharoah who reigned during the birth of Christ tried to have him killed and change the direction of grace, but God said, NO! and the Lord was born in a manger.  No one can take you out of His hands, and no one can stop your destiny.  God is great!  Thank you Lord for loving us and keeping us in Jesus name. Amen 😊 🙏 💒

Arise, Shine!

Arise, shine🌞for the light🎆has come! And the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Begin every morning with praise and proclamation.  Tell the Lord of His wondrous works.  (Really you're planting memories of them deep inside you where no man can pluck them out).  Tell Him of your love for Him, and of your faith which grows day by day.  Father we give you praise! We thank you Lord for the many blessings that you have showered on us through our lives.  We praise You because we never thought 20 years ago that we would be standing where we are right now.  We thank you that you never gave up on us and that you stayed with us so that we wouldn't give up on you. We give you praise that you hear our prayers and that you answer them.  Right now we believe and declare that all stumbling blocks will be removed from our paths, from our children's paths and from the paths of our family members.  We believe and declare that blind eyes will be opened,  that the deaf will hear, and that the sick will be made well.  We rebuke rebellion and stubbornness,  unbelief and disobedience and all that would rise up against you.  We thank you that our friends and family who are in darkness will both see and receive your marvelous light.  We believe and declare that possibilities and prosperity are coming into our lives.   Your word proclaims it.  We believe and declare that broken relationships will be healed and restored, that single men and women in our families who long to be joined to someone will no longer be alone,  but will be joined to your choice for their lives.  We believe and declare that children in our families will be blessed, well educated, have good friends and will walk with you all the days of their lives. We believe and declare hope, peace, mercy, and love will abide in our hearts forever.  These things we believe and declare because you have instructed us to do so and because you have given us power and authority to do so, (Luke 10:17-19) in Jesus name. The battle is not yours

THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS, BUT IT IS THE LORD'S!
That doesn't mean that you don't have anything to do.  When an army goes into battle , it follows the highest ranking soldier to the letter.   In our army, the 5 star general is the Lord.  The battle isn't ours to win, ...it's His to win.  Thankfully He has awesome battle strategies.  They include us giving Him praise and worship through trials.   They include us praying without hesitation.  They include our witness and testimony.   They include our resisting the devil and his temptation to behave like the world behaves.  "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal,  but mighty THROUGH GOD to the PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS (binding,  rebuking, casting out of demons), CASTING OUT OF IMAGINATION,  (destroy false thoughts that would deceive), and. ALL those things that would rise up against the knowledge of God" 2 Corinthians 10:3.  (Keep away from idols. Romans 10:14).  The battle is not yours.   IT'S THE LORD'S.   we are already triumphant because he defeated Satan on Calvary.  Now take out your weapons.  Don't give up.   Follow our general.  FIGHT UNTIL YOU'RE FINISHED! Removing Stumbling Blocks

In our lifetime we will experience road blocks to our success.   The bible calls them stumbling blocks.   It's inevitable that something or someone will try to stop you from achieving one, or many of your dreams.  The question is,  what will you do about it?  Will you sit and fidget eventually accepting the fact for you, that you can go no further?  Will you pull and tug on a door, or hit the wall in futility?  Will you look for ways around it?  Will you try to jump over it?  What will you do?
     If a train is on a track and there is a large boulder there on the track in front of it, what would the team of engineering experts do?  I don't know every step they would take, but I do know that the boulder would be moved even if it was blownup.   
     Our paths are made clear by God, but there are stumbling blocks along the way. PRAY AND THEN ACT!!  Even if you have to "blow the stumbling blocks up ".  If God gives you a ministry or mission,  He will also give you a way to accomplish it.  Don't give up.  That would be like sitting in a room in front of a table that has a huge beautifully wrapped gift with your name on it, but you don't ever get up, pick up the package with your name on it and open it.  You just continue to sit and look at it and and think about it.  How painful and fruitless would that be?  All your waiting is in vain if you don't get up and do something.   "Faith without works is dead".  Rebuke the stumbling blocks in your life.  Step on them and keep moving forward.   If they're too high to step on, BLOW THEM UP with prayer and praise,  proclamation and action.  Receive your blessing in Jesus name.
