Father, as we come closer to the summer and super family time, we want to lift up our families to you. This summer may we take the time to really look at each other. Help us to see the crinkle under our eyes when we smile, the way our faces change when we laugh, the way our eyes light up when family walks into the room. Show us the difference in our body language so we can see the happiness, sadness or worry in the way we walk, sit, or stand so that we can respond with actions that reflect your love. Help us to pay attention to the impact that words have on our loved ones. Help us to know our friends and family members the same way that you do, so that we don't take each other for granted. May we grow closer, love more, forgive completely, speak kindly and spend more time than money on each other. This summer, for super family time, may we become super family members to everyone.
