For our nation

Heavenly Father, we, your people who are called by your name, are humbling ourselves in prayer.  Please hear our prayers and heal our land. Cover your people with peace. Protect us from angry retribution. Help our leaders to work together for the benefit of our people and not just for themselves. Give
us leaders who are filled with wisdom and knowledge and  who are able to do your will.  Your word says you hold the heart of the king in your hand, so Lord please cause world leaders to seek compromise, peace, cooperation and reconciliation with one another.  Please Bless this country and your people, in Jesus name.
